BUILT FOR COMMUNITY

OEI was founded in 1996 with a focus on supporting economic development in Midwestern university communities. Through this work, we have become actively involved in historic real estate development in downtown districts, as well as providing business services that support the broader community. 


OEI provides residential apartments and commercial spaces in both Bloomington, Indiana, and Ames, Iowa. 

Today, OEI owns and operates nine properties across these two communities, serving more than 100 residential and commercial clients. Our portfolio reflects our long-standing commitment to investing in vibrant university towns and contributing to their continued growth and development.
